The big birds are mesmerizing. Everything they do: walk, shake their feathers, stretch their long necks and examine their wings, seems full of veiled significance. Their colors and charisma awake genuine curiosity.

In this painting, I wanted to show that a big bird is a small fragment of the Earth, and this small fragment participates in the dance of life, contributing to the collective experience. I added imagined qualities of the bird like fluidity and tranquility, and made its intricate wings to stand out against the dull background. At the same time, I added a piece of the bright sky, to show an ever-present spark of bliss.
