This painting portrays an inner child, who reads fairytales and plays with butterflies. She has a lot of imaginary friends, she waves to the UFOs passing by, she visits other dimensions and she doesn’t question miracles. This time the inner girl met a sparkly sky spirit, with whom she spends a warm summer evening.

I created a dark background to make my characters to stand out. The white flowers and butterflies are supposed to “live” on the dress, i.e. they can fly away at any moment. The grass has the texture and movements of seagrass, to make the viewers guess if it is all real. Both the Spirit and the Girl have simple and receptive smiles – to make the viewers to feel at ease and remember a time when they saw magic in everything.
