The bee knew it was Monday.
The ground beneath him felt uneven – like the week ahead. The flower had attitude. The honey bucket was empty. His wings were still in weekend mode. He couldn’t believe it was Monday again, he swore he had just blinked on Friday. Now he was clutching a leaf just to stay upright. Still, he mumbled to himself, “Just keep buzzing and pretend it’s already Thursday... maybe motivation will show up eventually.”
