27.9x35.6 cm ~ Drawing, Ink, Pencil
On a lazy summer afternoon, when the sun is warm and the breeze soft, even a fox knows it’s the perfect time for a nap. Curled up in the grass, surrounded by tall plants and quiet shade, she rests without hurry or worry – just as animals do throughout their lives, without guilt or agenda. I think the last time I took an afternoon nap was when I was a little child, and maybe one day, when I’m old, I’ll give myself permission to do it again. For now, I find comfort in knowing that in the natural world, rest is part of the rhythm – and no one questions its worth.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind drawing, created with ink pen and colored pencil on heavy-weight, acid-free paper.
